FOLLOW UP ACTIVITIES

HALLOWE'EN POLL

These are the feedaback cards to give each child soon after the party to collect likes and dislikes about the Hallowe'en experience. These cards will be processed by the third level students and the exit polls organized to go on the pages of Giocoland. In my experience this is an ususal way to get feedbacks from the students, because I try to fit each activity on the enjoyement and fun of my classes, being convinced that motivation given by the pleasure is the best springboard for the natural development of significant activities and therefore for effective learning.
AIMS
-Get feedback information about the party.
-Process cards using graphs.
RESOURCES
Copies of the cards, pencils.

GIOCOLAND PAGES

The pages to go on the magazine Giocoland are prepared in the lessons following the party and collect all the activities suitable to be written and illustrated. These are follow up sessions focusing both on the experience they have had, and on the reflection about the tradition itself.
Each class learning English as a foreign language during this school year is involved and each child can give his contribution to the magazine. What they need is only a bit of organization to decide which page to give which class, and the enthusiasm of the children will do the rest.
The aims are in general the same stated for the whole project.
