RECONNAISSANCE
Using tape recordings and the structured
personal diary I am going to describe the situation and try to explain
the elements on which act later.
I teach in this class:
- on Tuesdays from 14.30 to 15.30 only L2;
- on Thursdays from 11.00 to 12.00 only L2 and from 12.00 to 13.00
developing cross-curricular projects;
- on Saturdays from 10.00 to 11.00 only L2.
I teach this class always at the end of the working day, so it is quite
simple and immediate for me to write field notes more carefully or to
state feelings, reactions, hunces about what happened in the class.
I have always used a small diary that is to me like a micro-planner containing
a comprehensive diary of my work in and outside the classes. In this planner
I usually write the activities and the language really practiced.
I think now, that for my A.R. i need a more detailed planner focusing
on the several aspects of my action and consisting of:
-a space in which describe globally the work;
-a structured section to fill in quickly with some grids to help me in
my personal observations on:
- vocabulary
- structures
- behaviours
- interactions
- organization
- planning
